If necessity is the mother of invention,
then curiosity must certainly be the
father. Man always searching for the
next new toy. That was the Summer of
1999. I wondered what table tennis would
be like if the table were built to the
exact scale of a regulation tennis court.
Because of my background in successfully
teaching and coaching tennis for over
a quarter of a century, any improvement
would be clearly evident. And it was.
After over 11 years of research and
development, we introduce the 2011 line
of RALLYSTAR HYPERFORMANCE Tennis Tables.
All four models are precision-built
hyperformance competition machines that
exhibit a dynamic never before realized
in table tennis until now. And all of
our designs are user friendly to even
the youngest novice.
The materials and fit and finish rival
that of the world's finest sports cars
which were a great inspiration to our
engineers in the design concept. And
the durability is unparalleled as demonstrated
by the strongest warranty in the industry,
lifetime for rust perforation.
With sizes ranging from just under
five feet on the MICRO to over eight
feet on the tournament CHAMPION model,
there's a RALLYSTAR for every space at
the home or club resort. And every tennis
table we build is completely waterproof
so it offers the versatility you would
expect in such a hyperformance design.
At RALLYSTAR we are passionate about
tennis and felt that tennis players deserved
and would appreciate a premium product
without compromising materials and design.That's
why our design staff is comprised of
race car and aerospace engineers. The
engineer who builds our carbon fiber
line of tennis tables formerly worked
for NASA and another one of our top engineers
was responsible for design and fabrication
of the frame rails on the ejection seat
of the McDonnell Douglas F-15 fighter
jet. The best people make the best products
and that's characteristic of everything
we build.
Our custom shop will match colors
to sample to add the ultimate in personalization
to your RALLYSTAR and we offer over 100
choices for the regulation striping on
the court. The net emblem can be customized
as well for corporate logo or personal
name. We also offer a design that can
be used in the shallow end of a swimming
pool. If you would like to retrofit a
RALLYSTAR on your pool table we have
a design for that as well.
The origins of table tennis are
somewhat obscure but history recounts
that the sport rose to prominence as
an English parlor game in the late
1800's and spread rapidly to other
continents from there. What most people
don't know is the origin of the configuration.
The traditional 5 foot by 9 foot table
is a direct descendent of the English
dinner table. The host would mount
a couple of champagne bottles and a
makeshift net on the dining room table
and the guests would commence to play.
Fast forward to the new millennium
and we offer the RALLYSTAR in three
sizes built to the exact scale of a
regulation tennis court to create an
authentic tennis playing experience.
What separates our design from conventional
table tennis is that our tennis tables
achieve a new dynamic playing experience
because even the acrylic net is built
to exact scale of a regulation tennis
court and we offer the design in aluminum
composite, acrylic, carbon fiber, and
carbon fiber-look playing surfaces.
