What prompted you to design
a table that looked like a tennis
court?
The sheer aesthetics
of table tennis tables are boring and
uninspiring with the single white line
as the only one used to regulate play
not to mention the inferior design
of most every net bracket system on
the market. RALLYSTAR manufacturers
the finest table tennis net bracket
system in the world and it can be purchased
to retrofit on conventional table tennis
tables. It is offered as an option
on our CHAMPION model. Conventional
table tennis tables are made mostly
of heavy particle board and MDF which
contain unhealthy chemicals such as
formaldehyde glue to bond the surface
material together. These tables can
not be used outdoors at all. All RALLYSTAR
Tennis Tables are designed for indoor
and outdoor applications. The answer
to the question is that we thought
a table built to the exact scale of
a regulation tennis court would not
only look more pleasing aesthetically
but possibly play more authentically
like a regulation tennis court. We
were right.

Is it difficult to play

design?

the net is bowed and scaled to a regulation
tennis court so exciting rallies come
much easier than on a conventional table
tennis table. All RALLYSTAR Tennis Tables
are engineered for the advanced tennis
player but because of the logical regulation
tennis court design are user friendly
to even young novices. Our optional revolutionary
fully adjustable telescopic leg system
design offers children as young as three
years of age the opportunity to play
with Mom and Dad to develop important
hand-eye coordination skills at a very
early age.
What if I want a traditional
nylon mesh net as opposed to the acrylic
net?
We offer the sturdy nylon mesh net
on the CHAMPION at no extra charge with
the pre-drilled holes to accept the acrylic
net bracket system as well.
Which RALLYSTAR Tennis Table
should I choose?
Space is always a concern from studio
apartments to the most lavish club resorts.
All the RALLYSTAR models have been thoroughly
tested and perform flawlessly at the
most hyper speeds and don't require a
large back court area because like a
good tennis court, the best game is taking
the ball early which does not require
a great deal of space behind the baseline.
Our engineers and design staff play on
all three tables in our studio and each
table shares a distinct play dynamic
but each table also has a distinct personality
all its own.

game?
Yes. RALLYSTAR is first and foremost

scale and did so without compromising
the excitement and dynamics a regulation
tennis court provides.
Will I notice an appreciable
difference in my tennis skills such as
reflex, quickness, touch, and timing?
Yes. The best example of what RALLYSTAR
Tennis Tables can do for your tennis
game skills can be explained by examining
the late great British champion Fred
Perry. Perry dominated Wimbledon from
1934 to 1936, losing only 20 games in
three straight-set finals. He was the
first man to win all four Grand Slams.
What is so incredible is that Fred Perry
didn't begin playing tennis until his
late teens. Fred was a player who developed
extraordinary hand-eye coordination from
playing table tennis. He was quoted as
saying that tennis and table tennis were
the same except for the serve. And went
on to say that the angles were the same
as well as the grips. Perry credited
table tennis with making him think on
court and teaching him the importance
of taking the ball early. Fred Perry
won the world table tennis championships
at the age of 20 in 1929 and in 1932
beat tennis legend Jean Borotra in an
indoor Paris final. Later that evening
after the Borotra win, he miraculously
rallied to defeat the current world champion
Miklos Szabados in a table tennis event.
